CASDON HETTY DELUXE CLEANING TROLLEY REVIEW

As you know from my previous reviews of the grocery set, and the changing mat set we love Casdon and their huge toy range. They promote imaginative play and help to build key skills through play. When we were asked if we would like to test out the Hetty Deluxe Cleaning Trolley from their Little Helper range this month we just couldn't say no. The Cleaning trolley comes in both the Hetty and Henry characters, so unlike the changing mat which only comes in a pink colour, you can pink either a pink and black cleaning trolley, or a red and black one.

ALL ABOUT THE LITTLE HELPER RANGE

The Little Helper range encourages your child to learn all about the every day jobs that go into running a household. Whether it is helping you vacuum, or even washing their clothes, there is something for every occasion. I think this range is perfect for helping their independence and also for them to copy and learn from their parents about every day tasks.

My favourite items from the range have the be the cleaning trolley, and the vacuum cleaner. I think they are the perfect way for your little one to join in with you and give you enough time to complete some household chores. We all know how difficult it is to get anything done with little ones running/crawling around!

The following items are included within the deluxe cleaning trolley set:

- Battery powered hand vacuum cleaner (batteries are not included)
- Mop and Bucket
- Sweeping Brush
- Dustpan and Brush
- Cloth
- Two Cleaning bottles
- Paper Bag
- Cleaning Trolley
- Stickers to add to the set

The cleaning trolley stands at 58cm so is perfect for toddlers, and is suitable for ages 3+. Of course Elise is nearly 2 so although the age is 3+, with supervision she was fine playing with this set. We did find that the mop and sweeping brush were a bit big for her to use, but we simply didn't screw the second stick in when she was using it. This meant the brush and mop weren't too tall for her and she could still play with them.

FINAL THOUGHTS ON THE HETTY DELUXE CLEANING TROLLEY

Elise loves this trolley set. I think it is her favourite Casdon item so far! She loves helping mummy and daddy to tidy up, and she follows us around with her toy vacuum when we are cleaning. I also was amazed that the hand held vacuum helped her to get over her fear of the vacuum cleaner. Before playing with this set, she always cried every time we used our adult sized vacuum cleaner, but as soon as we gave her this cleaning trolley set, her fear was gone. She could associate her hand held one with the large one, and because the vacuum cleaner in the set makes a noise similar to a normal vacuum cleaner, she was no longer afraid.

I think this product is great for stimulating the imagination and helping with creative play. It helps your child to associate their toy items with real life objects, and means that they can get involved in the cleaning. Elise loves to clean anyway, so having this set means she can do it any time she likes!
